My Pond5 clips and why Pond5 is the best!

So why is the Site named after Pond 5 and why such a devotee? This is because Pond5 have decided to work with the stock footage providers as well as the buyer, they are also a smaller company than shutterstock so they will respond if you have questions or queries.

 My Pond5 stock footage, click on any of the images to see the image moving or buy one! They accept more footage than other companies this means when you start out they accept footage which isn't perfectly framed - this does not affect the quality for the buyers because the most popular shots are the ones that come up first, but when a provider or as I prefer to call them a Pond5er gets better they will not be put off by being turned down because the shot is unlikely to sell. Starting out Pond5ers are fragile beings and we don't need to be told "This will never sell!" Thats what happened to me with Shutterstock when I started out, now of course I would have some stock which might work for them but Alas they lost me many years ago. They also have some very loyal fans if you go on their forums there is a lot of love for Pond5 the odd person moans but the end of the day we all know Pond5 give the best percentage of money 50%! and enable you to price your own stock.
