Its winter time, time of desperation, time of hoping something might come up, something positive - nah, aint gonna happen. So I have put together a selection of library footage to show to companies, so that I can film in there companies filming them making stuff. Strange things sell people, strange things sell. I have contacted Clipper Lemon Tea about the advert I made for them in exchange for free Tea, I have still heard nothing back. Bad news.
I was phoning up Hotels in Bath to stay for the weekend offering them a free video if they let me stay for two nights, I was receiving a frosty response! "I don't want the hassle" "We don't want a video." Pretty demoralizing it was. In my Cold calling book it says you should get up to 8 calls before you get a sale I got through 4 before my humor started to wane. I did try 3 more but they were all not answering, thank God.
Things are cruddy. crud crud crud.
"I'm phoning cause I want to stay at your hotel for free, in exchange for a video." "Yeah but its winter time and the flowers are dead. I'd rather it in the summer." Lesson learned there do it in Spring, when its sunny but not full up.
Below is my video of Library footage.
